There has been a few questions raised, in some of the forums I go to, about the Movie verses Movie Clip Frames Per Second (FPS).
First the frame rate in the movie is set by the author and it carries over into all movie clips, animations, etc.
What we are going to do is, for a lack of a better wording, remove the FPS from the animation. This we will do by scripting.
I have set up a demo tool for you to play with. Check out the file below. You will see that the FPS of the Movie and inside the Movie Clip are the same, but you set the speed for the clip to animate.
All this is done declaring a value for speed and assigning it to the animation.

Enjoy. Later I will work up some scripting examples to go with this.
