I have given this a different scripting action which I think you will find easier to work with.
I also set this up in a sprite so all you need to do is copy and paste the sprite where you want it in your movie.
With this script you can set where you start & end the effect, also where you click lock it.

   Check the settings to smooth it out a little more. If you are still having problems just upload the file and we can figuer it out.
